President Tony was determined to have a Ladies Evening despite the country being in lockdown and so at 6:45 on Friday 18th November just over 80 people – Brothers, Ladies, friends and guests, logged into The Brooklands Circle Zoom based Ladies Evening.
We started with a trip down memory lane – a slideshow of photos from past Ladies Evenings. Then it was onto the meal. Everyone had brought along some food. Some brought snacks. Some brought full meals and of course there were the obligatory bottles of wine but without the Cresta Court markup.
We split up into into pre-arranged breakout rooms for 30 minutes or so whilst we ate and then came back together for Grace after Meals, President Tony’s speech and a response from Brother Michael Connolly who entertained us with tales of his hospital visits.
